Online alarm clock: frequently asked questions
Does the alarm work if I close the tab?
No. The alarm runs in this page, so the tab has to stay open for it to sound. You can switch to other tabs or minimise the window, but closing the page stops it.
Where are my alarms stored?
In your own browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to a server and no account is needed, which also means alarms do not follow you to another device or browser.
Why can I not hear the alarm?
Browsers block sound until you have interacted with a page. Press the test button once and the alarm will be allowed to play. Also check that the tab is not muted and the system volume is up.
Will the alarm still be accurate if my computer sleeps?
If the device suspends, the page is suspended with it and the alarm sounds when the machine wakes, not at the set time. For anything you cannot miss, use a device that stays awake.
Can I set more than one alarm?
Yes. Set as many as you need, each with its own time, label and sound, and they will ring independently.
